Tobias Köngeter

Biography

During his 21-year career, Tobias has been involved in the production of many sophisticated printed works, including bibliophile art books, lavish exhibition catalogues and even a rare Bible. His concepts and realisations of highly customised printed materials — a fusion of digital and print — as well as the software he developed specifically for this purpose, have already won numerous awards.

Before founding WirbelWild, Tobias spent 10 years working as a media designer for digital and print media at Stuttgart’s oldest printing company. There, he gained extensive knowledge of order planning and execution. He gained an insight into all areas of a full-service printing company and learnt about lead typesetting, desktop publishing (DTP), digital printing, offset printing and letterpress printing, as well as screen printing, paper production and bookbinding.
